Debra Lawson alleges that working as an undercover in the Organized Crime Control Bureau’s Firearm Suppression Unit her civil rights were violated and she was subjected to gender and racial discrimination. Lawson’s team including her supervisors would not back her up, they even falsified tactical plans to make it appear that she had back up when in fact that was not true. Lawson was also passed over for promotion while less qualified Caucasians were promoted.
